Monique is a fun-loving jewelry professional that truly creates designs to capture the personality of the person wearing them. Her heart and soul are put into each design. Jewelry is similar to taking a great photo, as they both want to capture the moment and how they feel.
Monique has almost 40 years of experience in fine and fashion jewelry. She started out working in her parent's jewelry store in Gilroy, Ca back in the 80's. She went to jewelry design and manufacturing school in Sacramento in the 90's and absolutely LOVED it!! She went on to be a graduate gemologist from the Gemological Institute of American and became a diamond and gemology instructor. She also taught insurance appraisal and a specialty class all on Pearls. You will see pearls in many of Monique's designs. She also worked as a manager, director of rooms and General Manager in corporate hospitality and restaurants.
Her friends say, "she just has a way of making everyone feel welcome and special". Monique loves to cook, ride horses, go on long walks and especially loves spending time with her daughter Morgan and son-in-law Austin.
Now on to the next phase of life. Monique is now spending all of her time as a woman in business working out of her home studio in the Santa Cruz and Amador County, California homes and at a local spa for her permanent jewelry applications.
